Mines de Champleix
The "Champleix" coal mine consisted of two shafts and at least one tunnel, which served to open up and mine the local coal deposits. The operation in the concession awarded in 1842 was only operated on a small scale throughout the entire period of operation, since initially the removal of the coal from the remote mine to the station was a major problem. An improvement occurred when in 1906 a cable car could be built over the river "Mars" to the station. In the decades that followed, times of operation alternated with times of standstill, and in 1953 operations finally ceased.
