The Groeve Groot Welsden quarry is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. The underground quarry is located in Groot Welsden between house numbers 10 and 12 on the other side of the road. The quarry is located in the middle of the Margraten Plateau, on the edge of the Sibbersloot dry valley.

About 700 meters to the northwest was the Groeve het Houbenbergske I quarry and about 600 meters to the northwest was the Groeve het Houbenbergske II quarry.

The quarry was mined by block crushers for the extraction of limestone blocks.

In 1940 the quarry was closed, and the hole filled in.

Later the quarry was opened again for bats.

The entrance to the quarry is a crawl hole with a height of less than one meter. The entrance is closed with bars, so that bats can use the quarry as a roost.
