The Sint-Jansbosch Quarry V is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located southwest of Oud-Valkenburg in the northwest of the Sint-Jansbosch on the northeastern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters. Of the five Sint-Jansbosch quarries, this quarry is the lowest and is not far from the eastern forest edge of the Sint-Jansbosch.
Within 80 meters to the west are the Sint-Jansbosch quarry IV, Sint-Jansbosch quarry III, Sint-Jansbosch quarry II and Sint-Jansbosch quarry I.
About 150 meters to the northwest is the Pruus Karel I quarry, about 300 meters to the south is the Quarry Essenbosch IV and approximately 270 meters to the southeast lies the Quarry of the Scheve Spar II.
From the 17th to the 19th century, the quarries were mined by block crushers for the extraction of limestone.
The quarry has an area of approximately 104 square meters and a corridor length of approximately 20 meters.
The quarry is closed with a fence so that bats and other animals can use the quarry as a roost.
The quarry was carved under the Schiepersberg Horizont in the Gronsveld Limestone from the Maastricht Formation.
