The Groeve Gerendal is a quarry in Dutch South Limburg in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The quarry is located southwest of Oud-Valkenburg and Schin op Geul in the Sint-Jansbosch slope forest on a head in the south slope of the Geul valley on the northeastern edge of the Margraten Plateau. Here the Gerendal flows directly to the east into the Geuldal.

About 275 meters to the west was the Groeve van de Scheve Spar II.

It is unclear in which period the quarry was mined. Quarries in the area were mined by block breakers for the extraction of limestone from the 17th to the 19th century.

The quarry has an area of approximately 9,593 square meters. The landscape on site is littered with potholes.

It is unclear whether the quarry was also mined underground. Sawn surfaces have been found in the limestone at a possible entrance.
