Diorite-hosted porphyry Cu–Au deposit (17 Mt @ 0.5 % Cu and 0.65 g/t Au) in the central segment of the Urumiyeh–Dokhtar magmatic arc of Iran. The host rocks exhibit intense potassic (quartz–magnetite–secondary biotite), phyllic (quartz–specularite–sericite), and silica (quartz) alterations, surrounded by extensive argillic and propylitic alteration zones.
