The pegmatite occurs as discrete dykes that are elongated and narrow trending NE-SW, with most having a width less than two meters but measuring over ten meters long. The contact between the pegmatite and host rock range from very sharp to gradational Two classes of pegmatite were encountered in the field, these are: the beryl type pegmatite (beryl and aqua beryl subtypes) and the amethyst type pegmatite. The beryl bearing pegmatite occurs mainly southwest of Kuradawa and northwest of Unguwan Duku while aqua beryl bearing
pegmatite occurs NNW of Lip-Lip while the amethyst bearing pegmatite occurs at Dogon Fako.
