43 pegmatites, 18 mineralized: Li-barren pegmatite, beryl pegmatite
average 0.02 wt% Li2O; average 0.47 wt% BeO
The Tugeman deposit includes 84 pegmatites with 16 orebodies containing Li-Be(-Nb-Ta-Rb) and seven orebodies containing Be, with resources of around 61,000 t Li2O and 11,000 t BeO. The Li-Be(-Nb-Ta-Rb) orebodies are between 80 and 622 m long and up to 25 m wide. The ore grades are 0.38–3.73 wt% Li2O, 0.01–0.48 wt% BeO, 0.01–0.02 wt% Nb2O5, 0.01–0.04 wt% Ta2O5, and 0.03–0.21 wt% Rb2O (Fig. 2). The beryllium oxide orebodies are in the northeastern and southwestern parts of the Tugeman area, have grades between 0.15 and 0.39% BeO, and are 90 to 660 m long and 0.5 to 6 m wide.
