Small uranium deposit, located immediately at the German-Czech border. It is a continuation of the bigger, complex deposit of U-Ag-Co-Ni-Bi-As-Sn ores in Johanngeorgenstadt. The deposit was exploited in the 18th to 19th centuries (silver, bismuth, and cobalt) and mainly in 1946-1956 (uranium). Nowadays, most of the mining remnants are gone or recultivated, so mineral collecting possibilities are very limited.

Since the 16th century small mining for silver and cobalt. 1857 mining from the German side at Johanngeorgenstadt for bismuth until 1894.
From 1946 exploration for uranium ore (1946-1950 by Joachimsthaler Bergwerke, 1951-1953 by Zapadoceske Erzbergwerke (ZRD) mostly at Slovanka shaft, 1954-1957 by the SDAG Wismut with mining from Johanngeorgestadt (East Germany) beneath the border and 1956-1963 (mostly Magdalena shaft) Prinz Eugen Mine works 1956-1963).
