This small mine with a wooden headframe produced 2660 tons of coal in 1964 with six miners; production in 1965: 1953 tons; 1970: 3600 tons; 1975 with six employees: 1871 tons; closed in 1976. Today the Egbert mine is part of the circular hiking trail in Witten.
