Distinctive groups of subparallel gold lodes between pairs of cross faults may form a series of corridors along the cross-fault trend. In the example from the Huangjindong District of Hunan Province of China, it is evident that each corridor has a different number and spacing of lodes, such that they cannot be faulted equivalents but, instead, formed groups of lodes independently within each corridor defined by a specific pair of cross faults.
