Known as the "Paegam magnesite" deposit.
A large-scale stratabound magnesite deposit which is hosted in early-Proterozoic Pukchon group (previously known as Puktaechon series). The magnesite ore belt is extended to Paekkumsan deposit in Tanchon city, South Hamgyong province.
