The ore deposit contains approximately 7 million metric tons (Mt) of metals, with average grades of 12.3 % Pb, 17.5 % Zn, 1.3 % Cu, 207 g/t Ag, and 0.7 g/t Au. The Central Seruyan Pb-Zn-Cu deposit is hosted in altered dacite and Triassic to Jurassic silicified tuff. The deposit is structurally controlled by a thrust fault trending NE to SW and an associated folding structure that forms an anticline with a SW-NE axial direction, plunging to the east. The base metal mineralization occurs as veins following the SW-NE trend of the folding structure and inferred faults with a NE trend and dip angles of approximately 80°.
Four distinguishable hydrothermal stages in the deposit were identified:
Stage 1: Early barren quartz veins with sericite alteration and pyrite in the alteration halo.
Stage 2A: Barren quartz-chlorite veins with chlorite-sericite ± epidote alteration and disseminated pyrite in the alteration halo.
Stage 2B: Quartz-pyrite-base metal (Pb-Zn-Cu) veins with sericite alteration.
Stage 3: Late-stage calcite ± fluorite ± quartz ± pyrite veins.
