Geologically the Parasi-Sindauri area represents a volcano-sedimentary sequence, comprising of magnetite-biotite-bearing quartz-chlorite-sericite schist, phyllite/ tuffaceous phyllite intercalated with quartzite, acid tuff, grey massive quartzite, metabasics, quartz veins and quartz–carbonate veins and veinlets. The gold in association with sulfide mineralization occurs within the quartz veins intruding into the tuffaceous phyllite and quartz-chlorite schist. The mineralization occurs as disseminations, specks, veins, and stringers of sulphides. Though the surface exposures in the area are scanty, the mineralization of the area is manifested on surface by the presence of gossans, ferruginisation and brecciation at places.
