Other/historical names associated with this locality:

The 770 Highland deposit is situated to the south of Mohe town, with minor Quaternary sediments exposed. This deposit, currently under active exploration, has already confirmed industrial reserves of > 0.20 Mt Cu and 0.30 Mt Mo. The ore-forming granodiorite porphyry intruded into the Early Jurassic monzogranite, forming vein-shaped and sheet-like orebodies.

The vein-type orebodies are 200–600 m long and 5–100 m wide, whereas the sheet-type orebodies extend up to 1 km in length and 100–400 m in width. Both orebody types strike east–west and are hosted within the granodiorite porphyry.
