Uranium mineralisation in the Gulcheru Quartzite Formation in the Cheruvula Bodu area and occurs as lensoid bodies and is disposed at different stratigraphic levels. It is hosted by white/pitted quartzite and siltstone/shale member units of the Gulcheru Quartzite Formation.

Uranium occurrences in the Tipparajupalle area occur in siltstone/shale (0.40-0.50 m thick) and the overlying white massive quartzite (1.0-1.5 m thick) along the faulted planes and are traced intermittently over an extent of 2 km along dip section and 100 m along the E-W trending fault section.
