A zone of hydrothermally altertered rhyolite occurs just south of Bhuyari village. The hydrothermal facies in the alteration zone include sericite –muscovite-bearing rhyolite, phlogopite ± spessartite biotite schist and tremolite (± actinolite) – rich rock with serpentine, talc, epidote and dolomitic carbonates. The alteration is associated with polymetallic base metal mineralisation which is invariably zinc-dominated.
