The Yubileyno-Snegirikhinskoye deposit is a pyrite-polymetallic occurrence located in the Glubokovsky District of East Kazakhstan, approximately 60 km north-northwest of Leninogorsk. Structurally, it sits on the southwestern flank of the Sinyushensky anticlinorium within the North-East crush zone. The ore field is characterized by a steeply dipping monocline of Devonian volcano-sedimentary rocks, including rhyolitic crystalline tuffs, lavas, and siliceous siltstones of the Talovskaya and Shipunovskaya formations. The mineralization is strategically localized at the contact between these two formations and is associated with intense hydrothermal alterations like silicification and chloritization.
The deposit consists of four main ore bodies and several smaller lenses, categorized into four types: sulfur-pyrite, copper-pyrite, copper-zinc, and polymetallic. The ores are particularly rich in zinc and copper, with a characteristic metal ratio (Cu:Zn:Pb) of 5:7:1. While the deposit is classified as medium-sized in terms of metal reserves, it is considered a small-scale source for barite. The mineral composition is diverse, featuring dominant sulfides like pyrite and sphalerite alongside precious metals, with average grades of 0.8 g/t gold and 49.9 g/t silver.
