The Khaderpet Pipe, an unusual diamond-bearing KCR —carbonatite association discovered by Rio Tinto Exploration(RTX) in 2002 in the Wajrakarur Kimberlite Field. The Khaderpet pipe is one of the six KCRs in the Anumpalle Cluster of the WKF; the cluster has an easterly trending linear span of ~8km. All of the KCRs in the Anumpalle cluster are breccias or tuffs with an igneous matrix. The Khaderpet pipe, however, has a discrete sovite phase intruding the KCR breccia, not noticed elsewhere in the WKF. In the southern part of the body an intrusive plug of sovite carbonatite subcrops over an area of 45 × 60 m. Thin veinlets of chevron-structured carbonate extend into the adjacent KCR breccias.
