Discovered in September 2025, in the furthest drive north at the Diana Maria Mine alongside the Greenbank Vein, Pyjama Pocket is named after the chequered trousers worn by miner Harry, reminiscent of pyjamas.
Typical specimens present isolated, very gemmy, darker emerald-green twinned crystals hosted by beds of smaller, paler emerald-green frosted intergrown cubic crystals on a greyish to orange-grey claystone matrix.
Usually 1 cm on edge, or smaller, the fluorite twinning is extremely well developed, presenting on the crystal faces as fascinatingly complex growth lines and leading to the cubic faces sloping gently towards the edges on larger crystals.
