Köppen climate type:
The area is predominantly covered by dismembered ophiolitic serpentinites which are later intruded by small hillocks of metagabbro-diorite rocks. The ophiolitic serpentinites form elongated masses trending in a WNW-ESE direction and exhibit variable degrees of alteration including talc-carbonate rocks and listvenites. Listvenites commonly outcrop at the contact between serpentinites and metagabbro-diorite intrusion. They form dike-like bodies that extend for hundreds to thousands of meters and display positive relief and sharp contact with serpentinites.
