Name(s) in local language(s):
Cantiere Antenna, Miniera di Rio (Miniera di Rio Marina), Rio Marina, Isola d'Elba, Livorno, Toscana, Italia
(140m a.s.l.) In the middle of the Rio Mine, it has been one of the most fruitful stopes until its exhaustion in 1950.
The main vein was Hematite and Limonite with subordinated Pyrite.
Presently it is completely covered by Valle Giove stope dumps.
In very old references you may find "Rio Antenna". Perhaps it was a separate mine in ancient times.
