Miniera di Capo Calamita (Miniera di Calamita), Capoliveri, Isola d'Elba, Livorno, Toscana, Italia
The most recent stope (from 1958 to 1981) (230-270 above sea level).
The orebody consists of magnetite covered by hedenbergitic/ilvaitic skarns; in the south, near the limit with Macei alto, there is a little Cu mineralisation.
There have not been any methodical studies on its minerals: the oldest reference is Calanchi et al. (1976).
