A gold claim located about 14 miles SW of Wickenburg on the southern margin of the Vulture Mountains. Started 1873 and closed about 1879. Owned by P. Smith & P.W. Taylor.
Mineralization is the western extension of the Vulture lode.
Produced $150,000 of Au bullion (period values). A 5-stamp mill was erected at the Hassayampa River.
