A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine mine located in the SE¼ sec. 19, T1S, R14E (Pinal Ranch 7.5 minute topo map) in Iron Canyon, about 1½ miles SE of Hutton Peak. Produced 1920-1962. Operators included Ben Fuhrmann (1920-1924); Pinal Copper Co.; Elton Clark; Lorraine Copper Co.; Joseph Murchese; and Joseph Kingsley (1944); and Mr. Oscar M. Olson (1961).

Mineralization is replacement veins of chalcopyrite and pyrite and includes secondary copper minerals, hosted in Pinal Schist. A 3 foot width of heavy copper carbonate mineralization occurs. Hosted in Pinal Schist and with the Schultze Granite as an associated rock unit. Ore concentration supergene enrichment of copper probable. ADMR reported the presence of diorite dike at the mine. Foliation strikes NE and dips steeply SE. The Schultze Granite outcrops ¼ mile north of the mine.

Local structures includes reported diorite dike at the mine, unmapped by Peterson (Bull 1141-H, 1963). Regional foliation strikes NE, dips steeply SE. Schultze Granite Outcrops ¼ mile N of the mine.
