Outcrops of quartzitic schists (Werfener Schiefer) with pyrite crystals.

The locality is in the Lerchgraben (wrongly called Knappengraben in Google Earth), after 250 m on the track from the bridge (elev. 930 m) you leave the track and cross the creek (Ratbach) and on the south bank near to the creek the pyrite is found. Position N47.65512 E15.32094 at elev. 970 m.
The locality is only about 5 m wide. Pyrite with sizes up to 10 mm may be found, some in the form of Iron Cross Twins (similar to http://www.mindat.org/photo-299440.html ). Look for yellow-green limestone.
