A patented Au-Pb-Zn-Cu claim with underground workings located 2 miles NW of Bagdad along Boulder Creek. Owned by M.L. Lynch and J.W. Lawler.
Mineralization is a quartz vein 1 foot (30 cm) wide and striking N.45ºW. and dipping 80ºSW, hosted in the Butte Falls Tuff and King Peak Rhyolite. The vein is oxidized and crushed by post-mineral faulting. The vein quartz contains stringers of sulfides. Associated rock units are diorite porphyry and aplite.
Area structures include foliation in metavolcanic rocks that trends N10E to N40E. Veins parallel dikes and foliation.
Workings include a 30 foot adit and a winze at its face.
