An occurrence located near the NE corner of the quadrangle.

Pinal schist adjacent to an outcrop of Solitude granite has been completely replaced by an intimate intergrowth of magnetite, sillimanite, and a little quartz. The megascopic texture of the schist is faithfully preserved in the replaced rock.
