A former surface baryte-fluorspar mine located in the NE¼ sec. 5, T.6N., R.5W. Production occurred in 1939, 1943-1945 & 1953.

Mineralization is fluorspar in a shear zone that is on or near a contact between granite porphyry and trachyte. Faulting occurred locally.

Operations included a mill, crusher, elevator & shaking table with a gas powered screen.
