A series of small strip mines located near the Gaskins mine that were dug in the mid 1980s in an area old shaft mines. Because of its proximity to the Hicks dome cryptoexplosive structure, this locality produces fluorite that shows blue fluorescence due to incorporated rare earth elements. At last check (in 1987) it was heavily overgrown with brush. It produced fluorite (including some pink colored cubes!), galena, cerussite, and micro-crystals of quartz.
