Emery deposit.

"The Cerro Redondo emery mine is located 5 km to the south of Minas town. It presents a rounded shape (60 m high and 300m diameter). The mineral association is corundum and margarite with diaspore and muscovite in veins. This epithermal association seems to be related to the intrusion of the Minas granite. Metapelites, limestones, metapsammites and graphitic schists represent the host rock." [Sánchez-Bettucci et al., 2004]
