The Rose Nicol Gold Mining Company. Incorporated September 30, 1899.
Owns the Rose and the Gurley claims, located in the N. W. 1-4 of section 29, on Battle mountain and Bull hill. Both the claims are patented.
There is a steam hoist on the property, and the company is at present engaged in sinking a shaft and in working through tunnel.
This company was incorporated late last year, and as its side line is a side line of a portion of the Portland companyâs property, its location is remarkably good. Work is steadily progressing and the company intends to use its cash in the treasury for the systematic development of the property. From the surface indications, there is every reason to suppose that with sufficient development work, the Rose Nicol territory has all the indications of a good mine. A shaft has now been sunk 80 feet in depth.
