A Cu,Au,Ag,Zn claim

This claim is located 2 1/2 miles NE of Spirit Lake

It worked a 8" vein in grandiorite.

Developments include a 200' adit.
Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc

Commodity: Landes (1902), refered to an incompleted crosscut that was to intersect vein at a depth of 600 ft, where vein was said to be 25 ft thick and to carry a maximum value of $60/ton. More recent literature makes no mention of the crosscut and cites considerably lower values.

Deposit: Upper adit, on chicago no 1 claim, was driven into a 2 ft thick iron-oxide-rich gouge zone. Lower adit intersects an 8 ft thick, sparsely mineralized quartz vein. Location map available, moen (1977). ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Deposit type: Polymetallic veins

Development: No evidence that claims have been worked since early 1900's. No recorded production

Geology: Huntting gives host rock As granodiorite rather than andesite

Rock formation(s): Spirit Lake Pluton

Ore(s): Fault Zones
