Mandan claim
A former underground Ag-Pb-Mn-Fe-Fluorspar mine that joins the Pacific Mine on the SW, and just N of the Black Rock Mine, on BLM-administered land.
Mineralization is a vein deposit in a silicified fault zone that strikes SE-NW and dips 85E, and is hosted in schist. Alteration is the silicification. Ore is in vugs and irregular masses. An associated rock unit is granite.
Workings include several small cuts. Has produced some silver ore during the late 1880's.
