Revelation No. 2 claim
A small former surface and underground Ag-Pb-Zn mine located adjacent to the Amelia claim to the south, approximately 200 feet SW of the Clip Mine, on federal land. Owned by Mr. H.L. Duty of Yuma (1933); and, by Mr. Carl Self.
Mineralization is a pinch and swell vein in andesitic and trachytic lavas separated from granite and schist on the west by a fault zone that strikes NNW and dips about 80ºE. A vein, 20 to 40 feet wide occupies this fault zone for a length of some 500 feet. Brecciation is present. Alteration includes silicification and carbonitization. The vein walls show considerable chloritization.
Workings include a seevral shallow cuts along the fault zone and one vertical shaft.
