A former placer Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 19, T27N, R32E, MDM, 2.8 km (1.7 miles) S of Quartz Mountain (coordinates of record), along the W canyon wall of the Kern River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
NOTE: Geographic coordinates presented have been adjusted to the exact location of this mine on the topo map (adit symbol with mine name).
