A former lode Au occurrence/group of mines located in sec. 25, T26S, R32E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) ENE of Keysville. The property comprises 4 claims. Owned by H. W., C. B., and George Ross, Isabella, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N30E and dips 60S at a thickness of 0.61 meter. The vein varies from 3 inches (7.5 cm) to 2 feet (0.61 meter) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an 80 foot incline, a 40 foot drift on the 28 foot level and a 50 foot drift on the 48 foot level.
