Formula:
Sr3NaCaY(CO3)6 · 3H2O
Colour:
White, Grey, Brown, Green-Grey
Lustre:
Dull
Crystal System:
Hexagonal
Name:
Currently unnamed - from Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada
Probably the Sr analogue of ewaldite. The correct name is UM1986-09-CO:CaHNaSrY.

The UM1992-05-CO:CaCeLaNaSr is suggested to be polymorphous, but its chemistry may slightly be different.

Occurs as barrel- and pagoda-shaped crystals, macroscopically indistinguishable from ewaldite, donnayite-(Y), and mckelveyite-(Y).

Environment: silicate cavities, carbonate cavities, pegmatites, and igneous breccia.
