1Lusakite occurrence, Rufunsa District, Lusaka Province, Zambiascattered very small violet to violet-brown pleochroic grains in high-grade "ferrolite" (staurolite-kyanite-quartz-magnetite gneiss), with abundant blue Co-bearing staurolite, kyanite, quartz and magnetite. Additional oxides (hematite+ilmenite; minor rutile) and minor sulfides (linnaeite, cobaltpentlandite) are present, as is sparse sillimanite and retrograde(?) margarite and clinochore.
