ZX 6D (ChinaSat 6D)

ZX 6D [China Satcom]

ZX 6D (Zhongxing 6D, ChinaSat 6D) is a Chinese communications satellite based upon a DFH-4E bus.

The Chinasat 6D satellite provides commercial communications services with twenty-five C-band transponders and supports high-quality and reliable uplink and downlink transmissions of programs for the radio and TV stations and cable TV networks. It will be positioned at the orbital slot of 130 East.

The satellite is being manufactured by CAST and will be launched onboard a CZ-3B/G3 launch vehicle. The satellite was launched in April 2022 to replace ZX 6A.
