Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is, well, Sailor Moon. Teenage girls fighting monsters in the name of love and justice!
PGSM is the live action version of the classic story, and despite the iffy special effects and massive amounts of cheese, it will end up *breaking your heart.*
This picspam contains fairly significant spoilers for episode 48.

Long Love Letter is the story of teacher Asami, former teacher Misaki, and twenty students (school included!) transported to a POST APOCALYPTIC WASTELAND. The students must deal with your garden variety angst--missing their girlfriends, their families, and worrying about their futures--alongside threats of starvation, and batshit insane teachers out to kill them. Not to mention the toxic clouds, tornadoes, and [freaky spoilers].
One of my favourite scenes is from episode 8--after being put through the wringer, our heroes find a reason to hope. It's a deeply affecting scene. I'll even admit to a sniffle or two while watching it.

halfamoonI actually managed to put together a Katara picspam for halfamoon. Go me!
There's also an unpopular female characters love post. Go ahead and share your love for fandom's mistreated women. I gave ♥ to Naruto's Sakura, who I always thought was awesome even *before* the timeskip and powerup.
If only I'd watched Gundam Wing more recently, I'd share some comments about Relena. I don't see why she's bashed for being stupid and naive when *everyone* has some incredibly stupid politics on the show (Relena = pacifist; male character whose name I can't recall = war is peace! And *Relena* is the foolish one? Seriously, fandom?)

princess_dexter mentioned that she’s watching PGSM. aliaspiral--and this is a direct quote, here--said: “if only someone would provide me pictoral evidence of why this show is awesome!” (Okay, no, but she *could* have!)
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is pure cheese. The special effects are laughable, the acting is ridiculous, and yet. . . there’s something about the epic scope of the story that always draws me in. There’s tragic, doomed love! There’s the fate of the planet in peril! There’s a group of powerful girls drawn together to protect the world! There are past lives, and brainwashed former allies, and a girl whose love is so powerful that it threatens to destory everything.
The video quality for my episodes sucks, and Minako/Rei is my ultimate PGSM OTP, so you get a mini episode 47 picspam (this episode made me *cry* the first time I saw it. I got a bit sniffly even while screencapping it. Please try not to judge me too harshly!)
