Envoy of the Ayatan

It gets so difficult to express interest in philosophy because it's so easy for people to get weird about it. Like, I just want to discuss the intricacies of life to both explore and critique, but so many of the people 'into philosophy' (including many philosophers themselves) approach it like unlocking the super special secret code to life that only you the most special and enlightened one could ever conceive of and only those of equal '''''intelligence''''' could ever hope to understand, let alone it perceive it at all.

So announcing you like Philosophy either attracts aforementioned people that really think like that, or makes others believe you are one of those people.

and it's like, man

I just think it's cool to consider why we do what we do and the different perspectives we could have about that.
