Equine Choices

Ok,
So.... I'm very indecisive...
and although I've already sent off my UCAS application (to study wildlife conservation), I am thinking of ditching the choices when I get my acceptance/rejection letters and using UCAS's EXTRA to apply to an equine-related course;-
Writtle College - BSc Equine Breeding and Stud Management (sandwich), or BSc Equine Sports Therapy
Hartpury College - Equine Sports Science
University of the West of England - Equine Sports Science
University of Brighton - BSc Equine Sports Science

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Horses, and though I love wildlife conservation, it's something that I'd be happy volunteering every year somewhere for long vacations... so I don't mind not studying it. You know?

So, say I decided to study one of the above courses... which one?!?
I love the breeding and stud management because I hope to one day own a livery yard, and posibbly breed Friesians. Plus, I get to go abroad for a year!!! But I don't want to pick a course solely for its international possibilities.
And at the same time, I have this burning desire to study equine therapy. I can imagine myself at the races, behind the scenes, tending to stiffened horses.
Also, if I am not eligible to use Ucas's EXTRA then I may take yet another year out of college and work at my old stables and gain experience which I can use for the following year, or I could take a quick one year course in equine management at the college I'm currently at. Decisions!! I'm terrible... lol.... I can never stick to an idea.

I als have to think about funding. If I did take another year out, I'd be 20 by the time I started the course, and only a few months from 21. By the end of a 3 year course (like all but one of the above) I'll be nearing 24. I don't know if loans and grants will cover me for the full duration.... and online sites aren't answering the question for me.

HELP! >.<

Durham or Keele

I'm in a rutt! >.<

Basically, I have a choice between Keele or Durham for universities to study philosophy. I am 100% studying philosophy, because I'm 83% sure I want to become a university philosophy lecturer.

So... HELP!

If I were to study philosophy at Keele then I will need to study it as a dual honours (the catch of doing foundation year). This is great, as it gives me another subject that I can include on a CV. Thing is, I can't decide what I want to study. Sociology? American studies? Psychology? Physical Georgraphy? Politics? Which one? I like them all equally but nothing screams out to me that makes me think "yes, I can study that for 3 years!"

At Durham, I would also be taking a foundation year in philosophy and then go onto a BA inthe subject. I would not be taking a dual honours. This is less daunting to me and I know I would do well.

Thing is, I keep thinking that it would be more worth my while attending Keele because of the fact that I can get dual honours instead of single. But then I cannot decide on what I want to do and what I'm willing to do for 3 whole years.

Keele have a great (no... AMAZING) international exchange programme, wherease Durham has only two places in the world that it offers.
And unlike Durham, Keeles' exchange programme actually counts towards your degree.

Sounds like I should go to Keele, right? Wrong! Or rather, I've no idea!

If I were to choose out of the subjects mentioned, I would likely choose American studies because it includes a bit of all of those subjects. But still, it does not scream out to me.

NOTE: I will not be going to university until September 2010, but I need to decide by July really... and as it will be a stupidly hard decision, I am cracking on with it now!

Any comments?
