So does anyone have any input on honors courses?
I've been offered to take some for my freshman year...let's see if I can go scare up the course descriptions...
Hmm
ECO113HN Microeconomic Principles
ECS151HN Liberal Arts Freshman Seminar
MATH107HN Finite Mathematics
BUS101HN Introduction to Business
Are they worth taking? Do I want the honors recognition or is it unnecessary non-rewarding extra work? I was thinking about just settling in freshman year, but I wouldn't mind getting an early start either. I've had honors classes my entire high school career, so it'd be pretty much the same...I'm in Calculus 2 in my senior year and AP Psychology, Honors English, etc. I can take up to two of these courses. So far I'm only mostly interested in the Intro to Business...I'm going to major in Marketing with a possible minor in International Business. Any candid feedback is appreciated. |

Hey kids, my name's Justine and I've just recently sent in my deposit, roommate survey, etc. I'm going to Bryant, and I am wicked excited, haha. I have visited the campus...I was given an impromptu tour by the lovely Kristin Gayda, whom I see as one of the members of this community, but I am hesitant to add her because she's too cool to email me back ^_~
Anyways, I plan on majoring in Marketing and I thought I'd introduce myself to the few people here, haha. I'm letting you know one of the freshmen you can dupe next year. I am from Rhode Island, so I don't count on being homesick much. Hm what else? I hope to meet some cool new people, I'm into writing and drama, and I love my music. Feel free to friend me or IM me on RebelsWearPink and ask me more. Three cheers for not going to the state school! |

Hey-
I'm a female student from New Jersey going to college out in Pennsylvania. I'm not very happy at my current school and I'm planning to transfer out to a new school for Fall 2005. I'm considering Bryant. I'm a history major. I was just wondering if anyone can give me some info on transfer housing, anything about the history major, the location of the school, social life (is it all parties and drinking mostly..or mixed, etc?), what people do on weekends, the kinds of student at Bryant, food options, just an overall summary. I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks so much! |
