I can post this here, because no family sees this, and mom asked me to not to post anything on facebook till tomorrow night

So, we are going to have Socks put down tomorrow. She has been going downhill so fast, in the last 6 months she went from a healthy pup going great, to having trouble breathing and in the last few days she has not be able to keep down her food. And two days ago I found her outside, barely breathing, choking on this white mucusy foam... I wall all alone, but I managed to carry her in the house, and up the stairs and after calming her down and cleaning the foam from her mouth she was ok. But then it happened again yesterday, and her tongue turned gray during the episode, again I got the foam out of mouth and she stopped choking and gagging and after some water she calmed down and was ok again.

It happened again tonight. We can't let her suffer like this anymore. She is try her best to stay alive for us, I know it. But the way she looks at you when it happens is heart breaking. I love her so much, aren't puppy suppose to live forever?

But, 14 years 7 months is a long life for a dog, and Socks has been one of the best.

The preface of Marley & Me describe the kind of dog Socks has been...

"He came into my life and I in to his- and in the process gave me the childhood every kid deserves. (...)He was the perfect dog... at least that's how I will always remember him."

The author was talking about his first dog Shaun, and when I read that randomly I thought to myself, that is what Socks has been to my brothers and me.

I love you puppup, It's ok, you have been a good dog.

Catching up with old classmates

Well, I got back from Chicago today, got to spend the past few days catching up with Amanda from high school.  That was awesome, and pictures will be posted soon on facebook.

But that is now what this entry is about... no, another old classmate messaged me on facebook just now... Laura.  Mind you she was annoying as all get out in high school, and I was never really a friend of hers at all.  But hey, never burn a bridge unless you have too right?  Well, I made the basic chit chat catching up conversation and told her what I did for work and all... and well she goes and asks me if I want to make some extra income by doing what she is doing! </fake excitement>

So yeah, she was only talking to me to pitch one of those "I make loads of money on the internet and you can too!" deals ><''

Oi, I knew there was a reason I was never her friend in high school.  But don't get me wrong, I was nice, feigned interest and ended it well.  The only person I will never ever talk to and will most likely be openly hostile towards from high school is, as Amanda once called her, the "stick-with-a-mouth."

I guess you win some and lose some, eh?

Bored, should be working on costumes but I am mad at my sewing machine right now.

So, instead, I have been catching up with the random anime I keep downloading but never have the time to watch, quick review of two of them for you all!

First up:

DOGS: Bullets and Carnage
OVA 4 episodes, 2 available so far.  Run time about 15 minutes each.

I watched both available episodes and I giggled like an idiot.  The OVA is based off an ongoing manga about a group of assassins.  Yes, I giggled while watching people die, so sue me.  With each show being only 15 minutes, I know I am missing some greater story that those who have read the manga know, but from what I gathered, even without reading I can still understand the story and enjoy it.

Anyway, without giving away to much, in the first episode we meet Mihai, a former assassin for a mob family.  He is returning to the city because of a note telling him that the boss has been killed.  This wasn't the one I was giggling at, it is dramatic and very nice, I mean they manage to give you not only a background for Mihai and the other main character, but also give the watcher closer at the end... sorta.

The second episode we realize we have in fact met Badou before, but he is an idiot.  The lovable idiot type, but he manages to get himself in a bit of a bind after gathering some information about one of the cities mob bosses that is rather...embarrassing.  Mihai is back, and along way we learn the names of the other people, who I assume are going to be in 3 and 4 when they come out, Naoto and Haine.  Badou is the reason I was giggling while the dying and maiming was going on.

Over all, there is death, blood, and drama.  Nothing really gory, but if you don't like people getting shot in the head you might be uncomfortable.  I am tempted to start reading the manga to learn more about these characters but for now I am waiting for the last two parts to come out.

I like it so far, maybe even enough to cosplay from it.

Ok, the second anime I started watching was:

Soul Eater
51 Episodes, I own 21 and have watched 4 so far.  It is complete.  Run time is 30 minutes, give or take.

I have been reading the manga for just about a year now, so I went into this with expectations.  I have been slightly traumatized because of the crazy Narutard-esqe fangirls that were at Sakura Con, but I decided that I might as well at least watch the anime.

Basic plot line goes like this:  There is a trade school where weapon meisters train their weapons to become death scythes that Death himself can use.   As we learn in the first episode, the way to become a death scythe is to collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch soul.  The story follows Maka and her weapon Soul; Black Star and Tsubaki; and Death the Kid and Liz and Patty Thompson.

First thing that struck me was Soul's voice, which is much deeper than I thought it would be, but after thinking about it, it fits with his personality and it also works well against Black Star's very childish voice (he sounds like a 5-year-old to me).  But so far the best part is seeing Death the Kid's OCD animated. Kid is obsessed with things being symmetrical, and even leaves his weapons, Patty and Liz, in the middle of a battle so he can go back home and make sure the painting on his wall is perfectly balanced.

I know what happens, but at the same time I am interested in seeing how the anime decided to end it.  It does look like there will not be a second season, but hey they said the same thing about Haruhi and FMA.

Overall, I like it.  It is done by BONES, the same studio that was in charge of FMA and Kuroshitsuji so the animation is excellent.  It is silly and fun to watch so far, I have a feeling it will be much less silly as the story goes on though, which they have already given hints to in the opening sequence.

Opening song is by T.M. Revolution, first ending by Stance Punks

I like the manga, and so far I like the anime... anyone want to cosplay Liz and Patty for me so I can be Death the Kid?
*scarcasm*  Oh goodie, I can pay Al Gore to make up for my flight while he flies his gulf stream jet... -_-

Dream Car of Dreaming Dreams

1957 Chevy Bel Air (w/rebuild engine and new automatic transmission.) I would <3 the hardtop, but those are expensive!  Any color is awesome... but one with a black body and a cream hardtop with a cream interior is major <3  This to go along with the rebuilt 1974 Vespa VBC in either blue with cream colored leather or orange with black leather seats.... not to much to ask for.

Sadly they range in price from 1,200 with no engine or 75,000 rebuilt from the tires up ><

Did you know that...

Many of you will know who these guys are... the Blue Angels.

But, did you know that they were a fighting squadron in the Korean war?

Guess what their name was...

Betcha didn't guess that one!

Your result for The Social Persona Test (What kind of man/woman are you?) ...

The Rarity (QTAF)

Quirky Traditional Alpha Female

The Rarity (QTAF)

You have an unusual and unbelievably precious combination of traits, especially in a woman.  Not only are alpha females extremely rare, but traditional ones with nerdy/geeky interests are even more scarce.  Unlike the other types, I can't give you a description because I'm not sure if you actually exist.

PS: I know this is not a compatibility test, but there is a very good chance you are the girl of my dreams. Not to sound desperate or anything, but please, oh please message me!  (Assuming, that is, that you are between 20 and 30 and live in New England).

You are more DOMINANT than PASSIVE.

When picking a date, consider: Lord of the Misfits (QLAM), The Late Bloomer (QTAM), The Snowball's Chance in Hell (QTBM), or The Manga Geek (QLBM).

In the supreme court case Reno v. ACLU, I just realized that Reno is Janet Reno, not Reno, Nevada.

I was very curious as to why a city in Nevada was worried about obscenity on the internet.
