Question!

I need some help in deciding what color beads to use for this dress:



The fabric I used for the base is plain black, and I am torn between these two colors for the beads:

Okie dokie everybody! Here is what is going on for the next two weeks:

Today:
Hem drapes and then run away to go and buy fabric for seecert stuffies
and then orginizing sewing supplies

5/29:
sewing and cleaning

5/30:
sewing and cleaning

5/31:
sewing and cleaning

6/1:
packing and cleaning
maybe sewing

6/2-5
same as above

6/6/06: (giggles)
pack out date, noooo more internet!!

6/7:
still packing out, moving out of Likini house for myself, mom, and youngest brother

6/8-9:
living at navy lodge and then on the 9th we fly out for California!

6/10-16 (?)
going to be in Cali for sure, and depdending on how much sewing I may have gotten done before I leave Hawaii I may be sewing my brains out.

6/17-7/6 (?)
going to be in Montana living with grandparents doing 'fun things' with aunts and mom (rolles eyes)  Somewhere inbetween I hope to leave on the 1-4 of July for AX (BIG HOPE on that one, I still don't know how my mom is going to take it) and return to Montana in time to leave for Nebraska

sometime in July:
moved in to Nebraska house, hope to have internet set up soon after. By this time I also hope to have a school to go to and/or a job in the mean time.

Okie dokie, that is about what is going on in the most general terms.  It isn't as if anyone is going to really need to email me anything (I never get more than junk email anyway) but just so you know, my phone number is still the same, and as I said in July I will no longer be on hawaii time! so no calling me late at night! I get mifted if I am waken up at 3am just to be told that someone got something special... I don't care at 3am.

Okie Dokie! Here goes the Sakura Con Madness report thingy:

Thursday I left for Seattle, the plane was cramped and full.  The best part came before we even left the airport:  We were just about to leave the gate when an announcement came over the speakers: "Ladies and Gentleman, It appears we will not be taking off right away, the Pilot is locking in the bathroom, and we need to call maintenance to get him out.”  So yes, we were going to leave early.. but then that didn't happen. We got in to Seattle around 10 rather than 9:40, but I was still able to catch my shuttle down to the Paramount.  I know people hated it, but the Paramount wasn't to bad.  The room was tiny though, I will admit that.

Friday, I woke up at 5:30 and went to line up to pick up my pre-reg, I think that was the longest I waited in line the whole weekend.  After I got my badge, I made it back to the hotel, and everyone was still sleep.  My Millia Rage costume wasn't finished, so I wore my back up costume, (Naruto) and because my hair was much longer than it was this time last year I was the 'sexy-no-jitsu' version (in other words, my hair was up in pigtails, but my costume was still the same)  It was fun, and I had a few people take my picture (which was nice, I didn't expect it)  Lauren and Erin went to the Katie Bair panel, while Rachel, Steve, and I went to the AMV's.  They were ok, a few were just bad, some were really funny.

Saturday was the most interesting, once again, we were  in the cosplay, *Fanta Fanta*  We also did something else, we had a photo shoot done for us! (and we froze for a good part of it, but that is just because Seattle is cold.)  We used the whole hour!  But it was a lot of fun, and even if Rachel did lose her badge and Jean her watch, it was still fun to do :)  I guess what was the most fun was when we were asked if we were the skittle sins XD  The cosplay was fun this year, and even if we did get yelled at in the hallway before we went on...  and, again we went on and then POOF all done. (With out the real poof this year)

Lots of subway between Friday and Saturday.

Sunday was fun; I got to dress up in my Judy costume! I had everything except my collar and charms, but that was ok, Lauren didn't have her whip or bracelet so I was all alone in my War of Genesis cosplay.  But my sword had a short life, in the dealer's room it was smacking people (read Rachel) and after lunch and a short photo shoot the sword met  it's end *tear* But then! the dealer's room closed early so I couldn't even make use of my sword-free-ness! (still a tad pissed about that)  Closing was short... we were in the final video (haha *snort* we were the most colorful there) and I was like a little hyper goth-nurse taking pictures of every one in line XD

that is about it for Sakura Con '06  I hope to see everyone next year, 2007 baby! 10 years!

OMG... the Judy wig just competely kicked my ass.

it is way beyong my nonexistance skills, so! as someone once said, compromise!

what? have you ever tried to pull almost a pound of hair into two gravity defying pigtails?  on a head that keeps slipping backwards from the weight of the hair?

Yay!! Wig and locks both got here at the same time!! and the page boy wig really needs to be straightened before I cut it...  but besides that... they are also all the right colors!! woohoo!! *happy dance*

now all I am waiting for is the package from Katie Bair, so I can really start! (and I get to lock myself in my room for a few days to get this all done in time for the con..)

 and I also gotta buy hair pins, get the fabric for my millia costume, and the shoes, and get the costume done... see if I am even getting my PSE costume... make my backup costume if it doesn't show up... damngit! no where near done!!
