Found on bash:
xxx: Installed an utility, it creates 4 virtual desktops in XP. So convenient...
yyy: If only there were 4 virtual brains in the head - that would be convenient.
xxx: Well, there's a patch like that too. Called schizophrenia. But impossible to uninstall.
(I think it's called MPD ;) When the other personalities do not front, it's more like, um, expansion cards? :) Oh and most of Linux window managers include the virtual desktops functionality by default. Isn't it stupid that Windoze requires a special utility for it!)

Date: 2010-04-23 08:57 pm (UTC)Totally agreed on the workspaces, it's probably one of the most important things why I don't like Windows. How could anyone possibly work on one workspace only?
What's bash btw?

Date: 2010-04-24 06:19 am (UTC)The original bash is http://bash.org . But it's updated so rarely and most of the quotes are rather unfunny, I don't bother to check it anymore. All my bash quotes are from Russian (http://bash.org.ru) and German (http://german-bash.org , http://ibash.de) clones, I translate them myself.

Date: 2010-04-24 01:04 pm (UTC)Now I remembered about bash.org :) I haven't checked the website but still have read a lot of the quotes, because, most of the ssh servers at my university are configured to show you a random quote whenever you login (and I think the quotes are from the bash.org database). Some of those quotes are totally awesome! :)
