The PerpBook (JP: 紫疑者の冊子 Murasaki Gisha no Sassho, lit. "Purple Suspect Notebook") is a piece of evidence found in Flower Castle during Chapter 5 of Deltarune.
It was used by Seth, believing that flattening a Floradinn would be "scientific".
PerpBook can be found in Yellow's show, located just north of the entrance, after Yellow opens the second Yellow Door. It is found in between Aqua and Seth. Alternatively, it can be obtained from Blue's Evidence ACT if not found in the overworld.
The PerpBook can be selected during Yellow's Justice ACT, and is the correct piece of evidence during the first trial.
Finding the PerpBook in Yellow's show
- The PerpBook is almost identical to the book that appears when using Floradinn's Flatter ACT.
- The PerpBook is likely a play on words. Perp is a shortening of the word "perpetrator", as in a person who commits a crime. Perp is also phonetically identical to "Purp", a shortening of purple reminiscent of how item names are often comedically shortened. This foreshadows Seth's involvement in one of the four trials in Yellow and Blue's battle.
