[edit]I removed the reference to a Wikipedia writing agency from your user page, because it was phrased such as to encourage others to contact you to arrange for articles to be written about them. Instead, your user page should contain a conflict of interest statement, describing who has paid you for each article you have created. See Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI and Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure#How to disclose. As far as I can see, you haven't been doing this. Deb (talk) 03:35, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- @Deb yes they are paid only for editing account. They are using Wikipedia to earn money, not voluntary work. I think it's high time to take this user to ANI concern, as they haven't disclosed their employers list for every pages. May be some NPPs also involved, as I have found Graeme Cohen who has only an h-index of 8 and 181 citations per scopus. Dylan Reed (Ping me) 14:56, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- It concerns me that some of his suggested edits on Talk pages are remaining visible even after being declined as being promotional. I see that it's been raised at Wikipedia:AI noticeboard/HRShami. Deb (talk) 15:57, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- @Deb there are several jobs on freelancer.com for this kind of articles. I fear, if it is not stopped/banned, Wikipedia will be flooded with paid editing. Dylan Reed (Ping me) 16:15, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- I think we already are! Deb (talk) 17:33, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Deb. I declare my COI on talk pages of all the articles I have been paid to write. I was under the impression that using the paid template to disclose on my userpage was optional if I have disclosed the same on the relevant talk page, because the wording on the page says: If you are being paid for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must declare who is paying you, who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship. You may do this on your user page, on the talk page of affected articles, or in your edit summaries. When I create a draft it has comment on the top for the reviewer, which tells them that this is paid contribution. I have now added the paid template for each article on my user page as well. Please let me know if anything else is needed.Since April 2025, I have not made any edits in the mainspace on articles where I am paid. HRShami (talk) 05:45, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm glad you've stopped editing directly. Deb (talk) 08:16, 20 October 2026 (UTC)

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:HRShami and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=HRShami|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. You should disclose who paid you for which page. You are using Wikipedia as your earning which is not encouraged. Please disclose your PAID EDITING in detail. Dylan Reed (Ping me) 14:24, 19 October 2026 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. Enough of your paid editing while you haven't disclosed who paid you for which page creation. This says you are not one;y paid editing but advertising and promoting too. Stop using Wikipedia as your PR works. Dylan Reed (Ping me) 14:40, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @DylanMReed. Since Deb's message above, I did not make any edits. I was away. This can be confirmed from my contributions. The articles you were reviewing were submitted before Deb's message. I have now made the same disclosure on my userpage as well. Please let me know if anything else is needed. HRShami (talk) HRShami (talk) 05:51, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
