Hi Husskeyy. Thank you for your work on Retailing in South Africa. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for iterative improving this in response to other editors from October to December last year. The only addition thing I spotted was some WP:OVERLAPCAT issues - you don't need the 'Retail' or 'Retain by country' categories if it's in Category:Retailing in South Africa. There were also some bare urls in the references to expand.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi Husskeyy. Thank you for your work on Affordable housing in South Africa. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for another clear article; I only spotted on reference to fix (missing a title); watch out for red error messages in the reference list, as they point to things that are relatively easily fixed (usually).

Hi Husskeyy. Thank you for your work on Housing in South Africa. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for another South African article. There were a few 'bare urls'; Wikipedia:reFill can be helpful in spotting and tidying these. I've also added an excerpt from one of your other article, hopefully in a way that's helpful. This is a way of putting content in two places without duplicating the editorial effort to maintain it in two places.

Hi Husskeyy. Thank you for your work on Property tax in South Africa. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for another South African property article, this one on tax. I felt that the daugher article on Rates wasn't necessary, as the page isn't WP:TOOLONG, even with these pages combined.

Question regarding NetFlorist

[edit]

Hello Husskeyy, I noticed you have been a frequent contributor to the NetFlorist page. I am an employee of the company and, in the interest of transparency, I have a conflict of interest. I have submitted a formal edit request on Talk:NetFlorist to update the business model and delivery sections using independent sources like Daily Investor and BusinessTech. If you have a moment, I would greatly appreciate your expert review to ensure the proposed text meets Wikipedia's neutrality standards. Thank you! FizzyN (talk) 11:46, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced list entries

[edit]

I can’t speak for why things have previously been done one way - however adding entries which rely solely on Wikilinks are by definition unsourced. Linking to other Wikipedia articles is not the same as providing a reliable source - and indeed, Wikipedia articles are explicitly not in and of themselves reliable per WP:CIRCULAR. The sourcing issue is why I left a {{more sources}} template - the fact there’s zero secondary sources is the reason for the AfD. Danners430 tweaks made 11:52, 12 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

As per WP:NLIST though, the list items themselves don't need to be sourced. Merely the grouping being discussed does. So, therein lies the problem if there is one. Simply adding a source or two that speak to collective airports in SA, such as from ACSA, would solve this. Not reverting my edit or nominating the entire article for deletion. Husskeyy (talk) 11:55, 12 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Reverting your edit is because it was wholly unsourced - as I said, it’s not why I nominated for deletion. As of right now, regardless of your edit, it has ZERO secondary sources… so it fails NLIST. Hence an AfD is perfectly legitimate. But again - I’m not discussing the AfD here, as it’s not the venue for it… I’m discussing your edit, which is adding unsourced content. NLIST deals with the notability of the article at an article level - your edit fails WP:V in being unsourced. Danners430 tweaks made 12:00, 12 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Makes sense. Thanks man. Let's see how the AfD goes. Husskeyy (talk) 12:21, 12 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Seafood restaurants in South Africa

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Seafood restaurants in South Africa indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 14:10, 16 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Builders Warehouse when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you.
