Voting: Challenge 11

Sorry for being late with this - my internet has been on and off for the past couple days and it's really frustrating to be in the middle of something and have the computer and/or internet go bye-bye. Anyway, we have 17 amazing icons this week, so it's really exciting!

Rules-

·- Please vote according to each poll. There will be instructions with each box, so be sure to enter the correct number.

·- General comments/critiques are optional, but definitely appreciated by the iconists.

·- Anyone can vote, you don't have to be a contestant. :)

·- Do not vote for your own icon & please try to vote as fairly as possible.

·- Voting ends Tuesday, January 13th at 10 PM EST/7 PM PST.

I don't want to have to extend this challenge because I don't want to make this contest any longer than it has already been. Please consider submitting this week. We have 2 icons for the normal table and 2 for the gamble - your odds of winning are extremely high!

So the vote ended up being 17-7 in favor of continuing this competition, and I'm really grateful that so many people are still interested in this comm. ♥ I promise - five more weeks and we're done. No more interruptions!

Challenge 11: Super-Special Events

Everyone knows the biggest shindigs occur with three different types of milestones in the course of a lifetime - weddings, babies, and funerals. Your icon this week must feature a scene related to weddings, babies or funerals/death.

Are you up for a little gamble? There's a secondary aspect to this challenge. If you so choose (meaning it is not mandatory), you may adhere to slightly stricter guidelines for this challenge. If you want to take a gamble, your icon of weddings, babies and funerals must be entirely black and white with only one visible color. It must have one color other than black/white. If you make an icon that fits these specifications, you are put into a different voting table and are eligible for 700 gil. There will only be one winner of 700 gil, and if you make the gamble icon, you are not eligible for standard placing. Will you take the risk?

( Guidelines for SubmissionCollapse )

Icons must be submitted by Friday, January 9th at 10:00 PM EST.

No Big Freeze icontests this week, but be sure to keep participating in our affiliate icontests! There may be some perks coming up.

I believe gil totals are complete and accurate. Please check your total and make sure it fits with your own calculations.
